Choosing a railway mould should start from the drawing, not from the outside size alone. For protective walls, cable trough walls and shuttering boards, the buyer needs to confirm plate thickness, steel grade, forming face size, bolt position and demolding method. A mould with Q355 or Q235 steel, 14 to 20 mm plate thickness and tolerance control within 0.2 mm is usually easier to manage in repeated railway precast work.
It is also useful to ask for trial assembly photos and packing marks before shipment. These records help the site team install panels in the right order. For long-term use, simple structure, clean welds, replaceable bolts and clear spare part drawings often matter more than complicated features. This kind of checking helps the mould fit both first production and later repeat orders.
